Your Timex Expedition Grid Shock Watch comes with a pre-installed Lithium Metal battery. No initial charging or battery installation is required for immediate use.

Setting Time, Date, and Options

To set the time, date, and various options on your watch, follow these steps:

1. With time and date showing, press and hold IMPOSTATO.
2. The current time zone (1, 2, or 3) will flash. Press + or - to select the time zone to set, if desired.
3. Premere PROSSIMO. The hour will flash. Press + or - to change the hour (including AM/PM); hold the button to scan values.
4. Premere PROSSIMO. The minutes will flash. Press + or - per cambiare i minuti.
5. Premere PROSSIMO. The seconds will flash. Press + or - to set seconds to zero.
6. Premere PROSSIMO. The month will flash. Press + or - per cambiare mese.
7. Premere PROSSIMO. The day will flash. Press + or - per cambiare giorno.
8. Premere PROSSIMO. The year will flash. Press + or - per cambiare anno.
9. Premere PROSSIMO to set options. Press + or - to change the value and then press PROSSIMO to go to the next option. Available options include 12- or 24-hour time format, Month-Day or Day-Month date format, tone or vibration alert, hourly chime, beep for button presses, and customizable mode set (select "HIDE" for unwanted modes – they are removed from the mode sequence). Press FATTO at any step to exit and save settings.

A view additional time zones: Press START-SPLIT once and hold to see the 2nd time zone. Press START-SPLIT twice and hold to see the 3rd time zone. Continue to hold the button for 4 seconds to switch to the displayed time zone.

The Timex Expedition Grid Shock Watch is water-resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating makes it suitable for snorkeling, as well as swimming. It is not recommended for diving activities.
