3.2 Installazione della batteria

  1. Per il sensore esterno: Open the battery compartment on the back of the sensor. Insert 2 x AA LR6 1.5V batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
  2. Per l'unità principale: The main unit is primarily powered by a 5.0V AC adapter (included). Connect the adapter to the main unit and a power outlet. For backup power, open the battery compartment and insert 3 x AAA LR3 batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity. These batteries will retain settings during power outages.

3.3 Sincronizzazione del sensore

Once batteries are installed in both units and the main unit is powered, the weather station will automatically attempt to synchronize with the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure the sensor is placed in a location that allows for clear wireless transmission to the main unit.

3.4 Radio-Controlled Time and Date Setup

The weather station will automatically attempt to receive the radio-controlled time signal. This can take several hours, especially during initial setup. For manual adjustments or to select a language:

  • Premere il tasto IMPOSTATO button (location may vary, refer to on-device labels) to enter time/date settings.
  • Utilizzare il SU/GIÙ pulsanti per regolare i valori.
  • Premere IMPOSTATO again to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., 12/24 hour format, time zone, language).
  • Available languages include English, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, and Danish.

3.5 Posizionamento ottimale del sensore

For accurate outdoor readings, place the sensor in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and reflective surfaces. Ensure it is protected from rain and snow. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electronic devices that could interfere with the wireless signal.

4. Funzionamento

4.1 Fine displayview

Il display a colori è organizzato in diverse sezioni:

  • Sezione superiore: Radio-controlled time, date, and day of the week.
  • Upper Middle Section: Weather forecast icons (sunny, partly cloudy, rainy, snowy, etc.) and Moon Phases.
  • Sezione centrale: Outdoor temperature and humidity, with trend indicators and Min/Max records. Atmospheric pressure bar graph and trend.
  • Sezione inferiore: Indoor temperature and humidity, with trend indicators and Min/Max records.

4.2 Impostazione degli allarmi

Premere il tasto ALLARME pulsante per view or set the alarm time. Use the SU/GIÙ pulsanti per regolare l'ora e i minuti. Premere ALLARME again to confirm. The snooze function is typically activated by pressing any button (except ALARM OFF) when the alarm sounds.

4.3 ViewRegistrazione dei record Min/Max

Premere il tasto MINIMO MASSIMO button (or similar, refer to device labels) to cycle through the minimum and maximum recorded values for indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity. These records are typically reset daily.

4.4 Previsioni del tempo

The weather station uses atmospheric pressure changes to predict weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours. The 6 animated icons represent various weather states. Allow at least one week for the station to calibrate its pressure sensor for accurate forecasts.

4.5 Regolazione della retroilluminazione

The backlight intensity can be adjusted to High, Low, or OFF. Refer to the device's buttons (often labeled LEGGERO or RETROILLUMINAZIONE) to cycle through these settings.

4.6 Avvisi di temperatura e umidità

The station allows you to set high and low alerts for indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. When a set threshold is exceeded, an audible alarm or visual indicator will activate. Consult the device's specific button functions for setting these alerts.

5. Manutenzione

5.1 Sostituzione della batteria

When the low battery indicator appears on the display for either the main unit or the sensor, replace the batteries promptly. Use fresh batteries of the specified type (AAA for main unit backup, AA for sensor). Ensure correct polarity during installation.

5.2 Pulizia

Pulisci il display e casing dell'unità principale e del sensore con un morbido, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surfaces. Avoid getting moisture into the electronic components.

5.3 Considerazioni ambientali

To maintain accuracy and longevity, ensure the outdoor sensor is not exposed to extreme temperatures beyond its operating range (-40°C to 60°C) or direct, prolonged sunlight. Protect it from heavy rain or snow. The main unit should be kept indoors, away from direct heat sources or excessive humidity.

6. Risoluzione Dei Problemi

  • Vietata la lettura all'aperto:
    • Verificare che le batterie del sensore esterno siano installate correttamente e non siano scariche.
    • Ensure the sensor is within range (up to 90 meters line-of-sight) of the main unit.
    • Relocate the sensor or main unit to minimize interference from other electronic devices or large metal objects.
    • Try manually re-synchronizing the sensor (refer to device-specific instructions, often involves pressing a button on both units).
  • Ora/data errate:
    • Ensure the weather station is in a location where it can receive the radio-controlled time signal. This may take several hours.
    • Manually set the time zone if it's incorrect.
  • Inaccurate Weather Forecast:
    • The weather forecast requires approximately one week of continuous operation to calibrate the atmospheric pressure sensor for local conditions.
    • Forecasts are based on pressure trends and may not always match official weather reports, which use broader data.
  • Display Issues (Dim/Blank):
    • Ensure the AC adapter is securely connected and functioning.
    • Check the backup batteries in the main unit.
    • Adjust the backlight intensity setting.
