5. Impostazione

5.1 Caricamento della batteria

1. Locate the DC Power Charging Port on the Tufftalk unit.
2. Connect the provided USB Power & Data Cable to the charging port and a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).

• Per accendere: Press and hold the Jog Dial and Phone Button simultaneously for 1 second.
• Per spegnere: Press and hold the Jog Dial and Phone Button simultaneously for 5 seconds.

5.3 Accoppiamento Bluetooth con un telefono cellulare

1. With the Tufftalk powered off, press and hold the Phone Button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
2. Sul tuo cellulare, attiva il Bluetooth e cerca nuovi dispositivi.
3. Select "Sena Tufftalk" from the list of detected devices.
4. If prompted, enter PIN "0000".

5.4 Accoppiamento intercom

The Tufftalk supports up to four-way intercom communication. To pair with other Tufftalk units:

1. Ensure both Tufftalk units are powered on.
2. On one unit, press and hold the Jog Dial for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red, indicating intercom pairing mode.
3. On the second unit, press the Jog Dial once.
4. The units will automatically connect. Repeat this process for additional units (up to four).

The Ambient Mode allows you to hear surrounding sounds without removing the earmuffs, enhancing situational awareness.

• Activate/Deactivate Ambient Mode: Press the Ambient Mode Button once.
• When active, external microphones amplify sounds, while the 25 dB noise attenuation remains active for hearing protection.

6.5 Two-Way Radio Connection

Connect an external two-way radio to the 2-Way Radio Port using the appropriate cable (sold separately).

• Push-To-Talk (PTT): Use the PTT button on the Tufftalk or the external radio to transmit.

7. Manutenzione
