4.2 Cablaggio e alimentazione

The D2101V primarily uses a wired connection for both data and power. It features an RJ45 connector for LAN/POE (Power Over Ethernet).

• Alimentazione tramite Ethernet (POE): Connect a CAT5/6 Ethernet cable from a POE-enabled switch or POE injector to the RJ45 port on the DoorBird unit. This provides both network connectivity and power.
• Alternative 2-Wire Connection: If running a new Ethernet cable is not feasible, an optional 2-wire POE converter kit (e.g., DoorBird A1071) can be used with existing doorbell wires to provide data and power. This converter is not included and must be purchased separately.
