4.3 Chain and Bar Assembly & Tensioning
The chainsaw features tool-free chain tension adjustment.
- Assicurarsi che il freno della catena sia disinserito.
- Loosen the side cover knob by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Posizionare la catena attorno alla ruota dentata e alla barra di guida, assicurandosi che i bordi taglienti siano rivolti nella direzione corretta.
- Fit the guide bar and chain onto the chainsaw body, aligning the bar studs.
- Tighten the side cover knob slightly.
- Adjust chain tension by turning the tensioning wheel (usually located near the side cover knob) until the chain is snug against the guide bar but can still be pulled freely by hand. There should be no more than 2-3mm of sag in the middle of the bar.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso
Per un utilizzo sicuro ed efficace della motosega, seguire questi passaggi.
5.1 Avvio e arresto
- Ensure batteries are installed and chain oil reservoir is full.
- Disengage the chain brake by pulling the lever back towards the front handle.
- Press the safety lock-off button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger switch to start the chainsaw.
- To stop, release the trigger switch. Engage the chain brake immediately after stopping the cut or when moving between cuts.
5.2 Tecniche di taglio
- Pianificazione del taglio: Before cutting, assess the wood for stability, potential kickback, and pinch points.
- Superare il test: Allow the chain to reach full speed before contacting the wood. Apply light pressure and let the saw do the work.
- Abbattimento di piccoli alberi: For felling, make a directional notch on the side of the desired fall, then make the felling cut from the opposite side, slightly above the notch.
- Ramificazione: Work from the bottom up, supporting the branch to prevent pinching.
