1. Introduzione

Thank you for choosing the Perel Electronic Safe, model BG90017. This safe is designed to protect your important documents and valuable possessions against theft. It features a secure digital keypad for access and an emergency key for manual override. 2. Informazioni sulla sicurezza

4. Impostazione

4.1. Installazione della batteria

1. Individuare il vano batterie all'interno dello sportello della cassaforte.
2. Aprire il coperchio della batteria.
3. Inserire 4 nuove batterie alcaline AA, assicurandosi della corretta polarità (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover. The safe will emit a beep, indicating successful battery installation.

4.2. Setting Your Personal Code

The safe comes with a factory default code (usually '159' or '1234'). It is crucial to change this immediately.

1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. The safe will beep, and the yellow indicator light on the keypad will illuminate.
2. Within 5 seconds, enter your new 3 to 8 digit personal code on the keypad.
3. Press the 'A' or '#' button to confirm your new code. The safe will beep again, and the yellow light will turn off, indicating the code has been successfully set.
4. Test your new code with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

4.3. Montaggio della cassaforte

For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to securely fix the safe to a wall or floor using the provided mounting bolts.

1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, such as inside a cabinet, closet, or directly to a wall or floor.
2. Aprire lo sportello della cassaforte e individuare i fori di montaggio preforati sul retro o sul fondo della cassaforte.
3. Segnare i punti di foratura sulla parete o sul pavimento attraverso i fori.
4. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations using an appropriate drill bit for your surface (e.g., masonry bit for concrete/brick, wood bit for studs).
5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the mounting bolts through the safe and into the wall/floor.
6. Tighten the bolts securely to firmly anchor the safe.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

5.1. Opening the Safe with Your Digital Code

1. Inserisci il tuo codice personale da 3 a 8 cifre sulla tastiera.
2. Press the 'A' or '#' button to confirm.
3. If the code is correct, the green indicator light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.
4. Entro 5 secondi, ruotare la manopola in senso orario per aprire lo sportello della cassaforte.

5.2. Opening the Safe with the Emergency Key

The emergency key provides manual access to the safe in case of forgotten code, dead batteries, or electronic malfunction.

1. Individuare la serratura di emergenza, solitamente nascosta dietro una piccola copertura sul pannello della tastiera.
2. Togliere il coperchio.
3. Insert one of the emergency keys into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise.
4. Tenendo la chiave girata, ruotare la manopola principale in senso orario per aprire lo sportello della cassaforte.
5. Una volta aperto, rimuovere la chiave di emergenza e riposizionare il coperchio.

5.3. Chiusura della cassaforte

1. Chiudere bene la porta della cassaforte.
2. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts. The safe is now locked.

6. Manutenzione

6.1. Sostituzione della batteria

When the red indicator light flashes or the safe emits continuous beeps during operation, it indicates low battery power. Replace all 4 AA batteries immediately following the instructions in Section 4.1.

6.2. Pulizia

Pulisci l'esterno della cassaforte con un panno morbido eamp panno. Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o solventi, poiché potrebbero danneggiare la finitura o i componenti elettronici.
