Introduzione

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your West Bend QuikServe 2-Slice Toaster. Please read all instructions carefully before first use and retain for future reference.

Importanti misure di sicurezza

Impostare

1. Disimballare: Rimuovere con cautela il tostapane e tutto il materiale di imballaggio.
2. Posizionamento: Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
3. Primo utilizzo: Before toasting food for the first time, operate the toaster empty on the highest setting (7) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal. Allow the toaster to cool completely.
4. Vassoio di portata: Ensure the removable serving tray is properly installed and in the open/down position before operation.

Istruzioni per l'uso

Follow these steps to toast your bread, bagels, or waffles:

1. Prepara da mangiare: Insert up to two slices of bread, bagels, or waffles into the wide slots at the top of the toaster.
2. Seleziona il livello di doratura: Turn the browning control dial on the front of the toaster to your desired shade setting (1 for lightest, 7 for darkest).

3. Leva inferiore: Push the toast lever down until it locks into place. The indicator light for the selected setting will illuminate.
4. Specialty Settings:
   • Ciambella: Press the 'BAGEL' button after lowering the lever. This will toast only the cut side of the bagel.

   • Senza glutine: Press the 'GLUTEN FREE' button after lowering the lever. This setting uses a longer, lower power cycle for gluten-free breads.

5. Toasting Cycle: The toaster will automatically lower the bread and begin toasting. Once the cycle is complete, the toast will slide out onto the serving tray.
6. Annulla: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the 'CANCEL' button.

Manutenzione e pulizia

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your toaster.

1. Stacca la spina e lasciati raffreddare: Scollegare sempre il tostapane dalla presa di corrente e lasciarlo raffreddare completamente prima di pulirlo.
2. Pulisci il vassoio raccogli briciole: The removable serving tray also functions as the crumb tray. Slide it out from the bottom of the toaster, discard crumbs, and wash the tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reinserting. Ensure the tray is securely in place before next use.

3. Pulizia esterna: Pulisci l'esterno del tostapane con un pannoamp stoffa. Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o spugne abrasive per metalli.
4. Pulizia interna: Do not attempt to clean the interior of the toaster with any tools or objects. If food becomes lodged, unplug the toaster and carefully remove it once cooled.
