Disimballaggio

Prima del primo utilizzo

Before brewing coffee for the first time, it is recommended to clean the coffee maker.

1. Lavare la caraffa in vetro, il filtro permanente e il cestello del filtro in acqua calda e sapone. Risciacquare abbondantemente e asciugare.
2. Riempire il serbatoio dell'acqua con acqua pulita fino alla linea di riempimento MAX.
3. Place the permanent filter (or a paper filter) into the filter basket, and then place the filter basket into its housing. Do not add coffee grounds.
4. Posizionare la caraffa di vetro vuota sulla piastra riscaldante.

6. Run a full brewing cycle with only water. Discard the water from the carafe.
7. Repeat this process once more to ensure the appliance is clean and free of any manufacturing residues.

Impostazione dell'orologio

After plugging in the coffee maker, the digital display will flash. Set the current time:

1. Premere il tasto Ora (Hour) button repeatedly until the correct hour is displayed. The clock cycles through AM and PM.
2. Premere il tasto Minimo (Minute) button repeatedly until the correct minute is displayed.

Preparazione del caffè

1. Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the desired level, indicated by the markings on the side of the reservoir. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
2. Place the permanent filter (or a #4 cone paper filter) into the filter basket.
3. Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. A general guideline is one tablespoon of coffee per cup (150ml), but adjust to your taste.
4. Chiudere bene il coperchio.
5. Ensure the empty glass carafe is correctly placed on the heating plate.
6. Premere il tasto ACCESO/SPENTO button (if available, otherwise the main power button) to start the brewing cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
7. Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the 'keep warm' function. The heating plate will keep the coffee warm for up to 2 hours before automatically shutting off.

Programming the Delay Brew Timer

The intelligent timer allows you to program the coffee maker to start brewing at a specific time up to 24 hours in advance.

1. Prepare the coffee maker for brewing as described in steps 1-5 of "Brewing Coffee" (water, coffee, filter, carafe in place).
2. Premere il tasto Prog button. The display will show "AUTO" and the programmed time will flash.
3. Utilizzare il Ora (Ora) e Minimo (Minute) buttons to set the desired time for brewing to begin.
4. Dopo aver impostato l'ora, premere il tasto Prog button again to confirm, or wait a few seconds for it to set automatically. The "AUTO" indicator will remain lit, indicating the delay brew is active.

Pulizia e manutenzione

2. Remove the glass carafe, permanent filter, and filter basket. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water. They are also top-rack dishwasher safe.

2. Place the permanent filter (without coffee) and the empty glass carafe in position.
