4. Guida all'installazione

Installation of the CRANACH Door Lock Latch is designed to be straightforward and can be completed in minutes with basic tools. A power drill is recommended for pre-drilling pilot holes.

1. Step 1: Position the Latch. Hold the main body of the door lock latch against the door frame at the desired height. Ensure the swing arm can freely extend over the door when closed. For childproofing, position it higher than a child's reach.
2. Step 2: Mark Screw Holes. Using a pencil, mark the positions for the mounting screws through the holes on the base plates.

• To Engage the Lock: Close the door completely. Swing the bar arm of the latch over the door until the ball end rests securely in its housing. The steel ball positioning feature will hold the arm in place, preventing it from swinging open unintentionally.
• To Disengage the Lock (from inside): Simply swing the bar arm away from the door. The latch can be unlocked easily from the inside with a simple swinging motion.
• Security Peek Feature: The latch allows the door to be opened a few inches while remaining secured, enabling you to identify visitors or allow for ventilation without fully compromising security.
