The Creative BT-W3 supports four different Bluetooth codecs: aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX, and SBC. The device will automatically connect using the highest supported codec by your headset. You can manually switch between codecs by pressing the button on the BT-W3. The LED indicator will change color to show the currently active codec:
- Bianco: aptX Low Latency (LL) - Ideal for lag-free gaming and video.
- Giallo: aptX HD - For high-quality music listening.
- Verde: aptX - Efficient, all-purpose wireless streaming.

- Using HFP Mode: If you prefer to use your Bluetooth headset's built-in microphone for quick calls, double-press the button on the BT-W3 to switch to HFP (Hands-Free Profile) mode.
