5. Impostazione

5.1 Installazione di una fresa

Follow these steps to securely install a router bit:

1. Assicurarsi che lo strumento sia scollegato.
2. Press the spindle lock button and use the provided wrench to loosen the collet nut by turning it anticlockwise.
3. Insert the desired router bit into the collet. Ensure the bit is fully seated.
4. While holding the spindle lock button, tighten the collet nut clockwise with the wrench until the bit is secure. Do not overtighten.

1. Align the dust hood with the designated attachment points on the router base.
2. Secure the dust hood using the provided screw or mechanism.
3. Connect a vacuum hose to the dust extractor hood for efficient dust collection.

6.1 Funzionamento generale

Before starting, ensure your workpiece is stable and securely clamped. Select the appropriate router bit and set the desired cutting depth.

1. Plug in the router.
2. Adjust the variable speed dial to the appropriate RPM for your material and bit type. Higher speeds are generally for softer materials and smaller bits, while lower speeds are for harder materials and larger bits.

• Guida diretta: Attach the straight guide to the router base. This guide runs along a straight edge of your workpiece or a clamped straightedge, ensuring perfectly straight cuts.
• Curved Edge Guide: Use the curved edge guide for following curved edges or creating decorative profiles. Adjust the guide to maintain consistent distance from the edge.

7. Manutenzione

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your router tool.

• Pulizia: After each use, disconnect the tool from power and clean off any dust and debris from the motor housing, vents, and base. Use a soft brush or compressed air. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
