1. Introduzione

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Dahua 4-channel 1080P CCTV Surveillance System, featuring the DH-XVR1A04 DVR and four 2MP outdoor cameras. Nota: This package does non include a hard disk drive (HDD) for recording or any additional accessories like coaxial cables or power supplies for cameras. These must be purchased separately.

4. Impostazione

4.1. Installing the Hard Disk Drive (HDD)

The DVR requires a 3.5-inch SATA HDD (up to 6TB) for video recording. The HDD is not included and must be installed before use.

1. Svitare e rimuovere il coperchio superiore del DVR.
2. Collegare il cavo dati SATA e il cavo di alimentazione dal DVR all'HDD.
3. Secure the HDD to the DVR chassis using the provided screws.

4.2. Collegamento del DVR

4.3. Collegamento delle telecamere

Connect each 2MP outdoor camera to the corresponding BNC input ports on the rear of the DVR using coaxial cables. Ensure each camera also has its own power supply connected (not included).

4.4. Configurazione iniziale

Upon first power-up, the DVR will guide you through an initial setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up basic parameters such as language, date/time, network settings, and password. If an HDD is installed, the system will prompt you to format it.

5.1. Vivere View

The DVR supports various recording modes:

• Registrazione manuale: Start/stop recording manually.
• Registrazione programmata: Imposta orari specifici per la registrazione continua.
• Registrazione di rilevamento del movimento: Recording starts automatically when motion is detected in the camera's view.

Access recording settings through the DVR's main menu.

5.3. Riproduzione

per riview registrato footage:

1. Dal menu principale, seleziona "Riproduzione".
2. Choose the desired date and time.
3. Select the camera channel(s) you wish to view.
4. Utilizzare i controlli di riproduzione (riproduzione, pausa, avanzamento rapido, riavvolgimento) per navigare attraverso il footage.

5.4. Remote Access (Mobile/PC Apps)

Access your surveillance system remotely using Dahua's dedicated applications:

• Per dispositivi iOS: Scaricamento IDMSS dall'App Store.
• Per dispositivi Android: Scaricamento gDMSS dal Google Play Store.
• Per PC Windows: Utilizzo SmartPSS software.

Follow the in-app instructions to add your DVR using its serial number or IP address for remote viewing e controllo.

5.5. Funzionalità avanzate

• HDCVI/AHD/TVI/CVBS/IP Auto-detect: The DH-XVR1A04 DVR automatically recognizes the signal type of connected front-end cameras without manual configuration, simplifying setup.
• Trasmissione a lunga distanza: The HDCVI system supports long-distance video transmission over coaxial cable and UTP. It can transmit 1080P video up to 800m and 720P video up to 1200m.

6. Manutenzione

6.1. Pulizia

Regularly clean the camera lenses and DVR casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the DVR's ventilation openings are free from dust and debris.
