2. Importanti istruzioni di sicurezza

4. Impostazione

1. Disimballaggio: Rimuovere con cautela tutto il materiale di imballaggio e assicurarsi che tutti i componenti e gli accessori siano presenti.
2. Pulizia iniziale: Wash the water tank, milk tank, portafilters, and filters with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp stoffa.
3. Posizionamento: Place the espresso maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface near a power outlet. Ensure adequate ventilation around the machine.

   • Once the lights are solid, press the Espresso button. Allow water to flow through until the tank is nearly empty. This primes the pump and cleans the internal system.
   • Repeat this process for the milk frothing system: fill the milk tank with water, attach it, place a cup under the frothing nozzle, and press the Latte or Cappuccino button to run water through.

Preparare l'espresso

1. Assicurarsi che il serbatoio dell'acqua sia riempito con acqua fresca.
2. Select the appropriate filter (single or double shot) and place it into the ground coffee portafilter.
3. Add desired amount of finely ground espresso coffee to the filter. Use the measuring spoon and tampper livellare e leggermente tamp il caffè.

5. Place your espresso cup(s) on the adjustable drip tray. The tray can be adjusted for different cup sizes.

6. Premere il tasto Espresso button on the control panel. The machine will automatically brew and dispense the espresso.

Preparing Cappuccino or Latte

1. Per preparare l'espresso, seguire i passaggi da 1 a 5.
2. Fill the removable milk tank with fresh, cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to the MAX line.
3. Attach the milk tank to the machine. Ensure the frothing nozzle is positioned over your cup.
4. Adjust the milk foam control dial to your desired foam level.

5. Premere il tasto Cappuccino or Latte macchiato button. The machine will automatically brew the espresso and then froth and dispense the milk into your cup.
6. After use, remove the milk tank and store any remaining milk in the refrigerator. Clean the milk frothing system immediately.

Using Dolce Gusto Capsules

2. Insert a compatible Dolce Gusto capsule into the capsule portafilter.
3. Attach the capsule portafilter to the brewing head.
4. Place your cup on the adjustable drip tray.
5. Press the desired beverage button (Espresso, Cappuccino, or Latte). The machine will automatically adjust for capsule brewing.
6. After brewing, carefully remove and discard the used capsule.

• Portafiltro e filtri: After each use, remove the portafilter and discard coffee grounds. Rinse the portafilter and filter under running water. Use a brush to remove any residue.
• Milk Tank and Frothing Nozzle: Immediately after preparing milk-based drinks, remove the milk tank. Disassemble the frothing nozzle components and wash all parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Run a quick cleaning cycle by pressing the 'Clean' button (if available) or by running hot water through the frothing system without milk.

3. Place a large container under the coffee spout and another under the milk frothing nozzle.
4. Run several brewing cycles (Espresso button) until half of the solution has passed through.
5. Run several milk frothing cycles (Cappuccino/Latte button) until the remaining solution has passed through.
6. Spegnere la macchina e lasciarla riposare per 15-20 minuti.
7. Empty and rinse the water tank. Fill it with fresh water.
8. Run several full water tanks through the machine (both brewing and frothing cycles) to thoroughly rinse out any descaling solution.
