Impostare
Impostazione dell'ora e della data
- Tirare la corona: Gently pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) out to the second click position.
- Imposta l'ora: Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise until the desired local time is displayed. Ensure you differentiate between AM and PM for correct date change.
- Imposta la data: Push the crown in one click to the first click position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. If your watch has a quick-set date feature, this will allow you to change the date without rotating the hour hands through 24 hours.
- Spingere indietro la corona: Una volta impostati l'ora e la data, riportare la corona nella posizione originale per avviare l'orologio.
Setting the GMT Hand (24-Hour Hand)
The GMT hand allows you to track a second time zone in a 24-hour format.
- Tirare la corona: Pull the crown out to the first click position (date setting position).
- Regola la lancetta GMT: Rotate the crown in the opposite direction of date setting (or as indicated by your specific model) to move the 24-hour GMT hand to the desired second time zone. The GMT hand moves independently of the main hour hand in this position.
- Spingere indietro la corona: Once the GMT hand is set, push the crown back into its original position.
Utilizzo della ghiera girevole
The bidirectional rotating bezel can be used to track a third time zone or as a simple timer.
- Third Time Zone: Rotate the bezel so that the desired 24-hour mark aligns with the GMT hand. This will show the time in a third zone relative to the GMT hand.
- Simple Timer: Align the '0' or '24' mark on the bezel with the minute hand. The elapsed time can then be read from the bezel as the minute hand progresses.

Wearing and Adjusting the Band
The watch features a genuine leather band with an adjustable buckle closure. Adjust the buckle to ensure a comfortable fit on your wrist. The watch should be snug enough not to slide freely but not so tight as to restrict circulation.

Resistenza all'acqua
Your Timex Waterbury Traditional GMT watch is water resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM). This means it is suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not recommended for scuba diving or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
Movimento al quarzo
This watch operates with a precise Quartz movement, powered by a battery. Unlike automatic watches, it does not require winding or continuous wear to maintain timekeeping. The battery is included and pre-installed.

Manutenzione
Pulizia dell'orologio
- Cassa e cristallo: Wipe the stainless steel case and mineral crystal with a soft, damp panno. Evitare prodotti chimici aggressivi o materiali abrasivi.
- Cinturino in pelle: Clean the leather band with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a specialized leather cleaner sparingly. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures to prevent damage and discoloration.
Sostituzione della batteria
When the watch stops running, it indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.
Magazzinaggio
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields. The original gift box can be used for storage.
