4. Configurazione e installazione

4.1. Schema elettrico (generale)

The Commax DP-2S and DR-201D typically use a 2-wire connection for audio and power. Ensure correct polarity and secure connections. Refer to the specific wiring diagram provided with your product packaging for detailed instructions, as variations may exist.

• Filo 1: Audio/Power (+)
• Filo 2: Ground/Power (-)

4.2. Outdoor Unit (DR-201D) Installation

3. Cablaggio: Connect the 2-wire cable from the indoor unit to the designated terminals on the outdoor unit. Ensure connections are tight and insulated.
4. Chiudi Casing: Securely close the outdoor unit casing.

4.3. Indoor Unit (DP-2S) Installation

1. Scegli la posizione: Install the indoor unit in a convenient location within the building, typically near the main entrance or in a central area.
2. Montaggio:
   • Segnare i punti di foratura sulla parete.
   • Praticare i fori e inserire i tasselli nel muro.
   • Secure the mounting bracket (if separate) or the unit directly to the wall.
3. Cablaggio: Connect the 2-wire cable from the outdoor unit to the designated terminals on the indoor unit. Ensure correct polarity.
4. Collegamento elettrico: Connect the power adapter (if external) or ensure the unit is connected to the building's power supply as per local electrical codes.
5. Posizionamento finale: Place the handset onto the base unit.

5. Istruzioni per l'uso

5.1. Ricevere una chiamata

1. When a visitor presses the call button on the DR-201D outdoor unit, the DP-2S indoor unit will ring.
2. Lift the handset of the DP-2S indoor unit to answer the call.
3. Speak into the handset to communicate with the visitor.
4. To end the call, place the handset back onto the base unit.

5.2. Making a Call (from Indoor Unit)

The Commax DP-2S / DR-201D system is primarily designed for visitors to initiate calls from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. The DP-2S indoor unit typically does not have a function to initiate a call to the outdoor unit.

5.3. Regolazione del volume

The DP-2S indoor unit may feature a volume control switch or dial, usually located on the side or bottom of the handset base. Adjust to a comfortable listening level during a call.
