2. Impostazione

2.1. Accensione iniziale

The stopwatch is typically ready for use upon removal from its packaging. If the display is blank, ensure the battery is correctly installed. Some models may have a protective tab to pull before first use.

2.2. Impostazione di ora e data

2.3. Installazione/sostituzione della batteria

The MARATHON Adanac 4000 requires 1 Lithium Metal battery (LR44 type). When the display becomes dim or unresponsive, the battery may need replacement.

1. Individuare il vano batteria sul retro del cronometro.
2. Carefully remove the small screws securing the battery cover using a precision screwdriver.
3. Remove the old LR44 battery.
4. Insert a new LR44 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
5. Riposizionare il coperchio della batteria e fissarlo con le viti.

3. Modalità operative

3.1. Modalità cronometro

This mode is used for timing events with 1/100th second precision.

1. Premere il tasto MODALITÀ button until the stopwatch display (00:00:00) is shown.
2. Premere AVVIO/ARRESTO per iniziare a cronometrare.
3. To record a split time (lap time) while total timing continues, press DIVIDI/RESET. The display will momentarily show the split time.
4. To resume displaying the running total time, press DIVIDI/RESET Ancora.
5. Per mettere in pausa il cronometro, premere AVVIO/ARRESTO.
6. Per riprendere da uno stato di pausa, premere AVVIO/ARRESTO.
7. Per azzerare il cronometro, assicurarsi che sia fermo, quindi premere DIVIDI/RESET.

3.2. Time and Calendar Display

This mode displays the current hour, minute, seconds, month, date, and day of the week.

3.3. Funzione di allarme

The stopwatch includes an alarm function. To set and activate the alarm:

1. From the Time/Calendar display, press the MODALITÀ button to enter Alarm setting mode (indicated by an alarm icon).
