3. Impostazione

3.1 Disimballaggio e componenti

3.2 Alimentazione dell'unità principale

The main unit can be powered by either the included DC power adapter or 3 x AAA batteries (not included).

1. Potenza CC: Insert the DC power adapter into the power jack on the back of the main unit and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up immediately.
2. Potenza della batteria: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit and insert 3 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). The display will briefly light up and then dim to conserve power. Press the "LIGHT" button to illuminate the display for 15 seconds.

3.3 Installing and Pairing the Remote Sensor

The remote sensor requires 2 x AA batteries (not included).

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote sensor and insert 2 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
2. Place the remote sensor within 1 meter (3 feet) of the main unit for initial pairing.
3. The main unit will automatically search for the remote sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings should appear on the display within a few minutes. If not, press and hold the "CHANNEL" button on the main unit to initiate a manual search.
4. Once paired, choose a suitable outdoor location for the remote sensor. It should be protected from direct sunlight and precipitation for accurate readings. Ensure it is within the 200ft/60m transmission range of the main unit, with minimal obstacles.

3.4 Impostazioni iniziali (ora, data, unità)

The weather station is equipped with a WWVB receiver for automatic time synchronization.

4.2 Funzioni dei pulsanti

The main unit has several buttons, typically located on the back or top, for various functions:

• MODALITÀ/IMPOSTAZIONE: Press to cycle through display modes (e.g., time, alarm). Hold to enter setting mode for time, date, etc.
• SU/+: In setting mode, increases values. Outside setting mode, may switch between max/min temperature/humidity.
• GIÙ/-: In modalità impostazione, diminuisce i valori.
• °C/°F: Alterna le unità di temperatura Celsius e Fahrenheit.
• CANALE: Press to cycle through multiple outdoor sensors (if more than one is paired). Hold to initiate a manual search for outdoor sensors.
• LUCE/SNOOZE: Press to adjust backlight brightness (when DC powered) or activate 15-second backlight (when battery powered). When alarm sounds, press to activate snooze function.
• ALLARME: Premere per view alarm time. Hold to set alarm time.

4.3 Regolazione della retroilluminazione

The backlight behavior depends on the power source:

• Potenza CC: Press the "LIGHT" button repeatedly to cycle through 4 brightness levels (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%) and an off mode. The backlight will remain on continuously at the selected brightness.
• Potenza della batteria: The backlight will automatically turn off after 15 seconds to conserve battery life. Press the "LIGHT" button to temporarily illuminate the display for 15 seconds.

4.4 Funzione sveglia

1. Press and hold the "ALARM" button until the alarm time starts flashing.
2. Use the "UP/+" and "DOWN/-" buttons to adjust the hour. Press "ALARM" to confirm.
3. Use the "UP/+" and "DOWN/-" buttons to adjust the minute. Press "ALARM" to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.

When the alarm sounds, press the "LIGHT/SNOOZE" button to activate the snooze function for 5 minutes. To turn off the alarm, press any other button.

5. Manutenzione

5.1 Sostituzione della batteria

Replace batteries in both the main unit and the remote sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.
