1. Hold the hedge trimmer firmly with both hands using the ergonomic D-shaped front handle and the rear handle.
2. Engage the ON/OFF switch (usually located on the rear handle).
3. Press the trigger switch (located on the front handle) to start the blades. The blades will begin to move.
4. Release the trigger switch to stop the blades. The tool will stop immediately if the trigger is released.
