2. Caricare l'orologio
The Orient Bambino is an automatic mechanical watch, meaning it is powered by the motion of your wrist. However, it also supports manual winding.
- Carica automatica: Wear the watch regularly. Normal daily activities will keep the mainspring wound.
- Carica manuale: If the watch has stopped or has low power reserve, turn the crown clockwise in its normal (position 1) state for approximately 30-40 rotations. This will provide sufficient power to start the watch.
3. Impostazione di ora e data
To set the time and date, locate the crown on the side of the watch case.
- Impostazione della data: Pull the crown out to the first click (position 2). Turn the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
- Impostazione dell'ora: Pull the crown out to the second click (position 3). The second hand will stop (hacking feature). Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. To ensure accuracy, set the time a few minutes ahead, then push the crown back to position 1 when a time signal (e.g., from a radio or phone) reaches the desired time.
- Fase finale: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back fully into position 1 against the watch case to ensure water resistance.

Utilizzo dell'orologio
Your Orient Bambino watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement, which is visible through the exhibition case back.

Movimento automatico
The watch's movement is self-winding. An oscillating weight (rotor) inside the watch rotates with the motion of your arm, winding the mainspring. When fully wound, the watch typically has a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it will stop. Simply manually wind it or wear it to restart.
Hacking Feature
This watch features a 'hacking' function, which means the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out to the time-setting position (position 3). This allows for precise time synchronization.

Risoluzione dei problemi
- Orologio non in esecuzione: If the watch has stopped, manually wind it by turning the crown clockwise 30-40 times. If it still does not start, ensure it is fully wound and gently shake it to engage the rotor.
- Ora/Data errate: Follow the "Setting Time and Date" instructions in the Setup section. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting.
- Condensa all'interno del cristallo: If you notice condensation under the crystal, this indicates a loss of water resistance. Immediately take the watch to an authorized service center to prevent damage to the movement.
- Cronometraggio impreciso: Mechanical watches can vary slightly in accuracy. If your watch is consistently gaining or losing significant time, it may require regulation by a professional watchmaker.
