5.1. Installazione

The Tongou Smart WiFi Switch is designed for DIN rail mounting. Follow these steps for safe installation:

1. Scollegare l'alimentazione: Before starting any electrical work, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is turned off at the circuit breaker. Verify with a voltagetester.
2. Montare l'interruttore: Clip the smart switch onto a standard DIN rail within your electrical panel.
3. Cablaggio: Connect the live (L) and neutral (N) wires to the designated terminals on the switch. The switch is a 1P (single pole) device, meaning it switches only the phase (live) wire. It requires a permanent neutral connection. This device should be installed after a differential switch for proper protection against short circuits, overloads, and leakage. Use a screwdriver to easily tighten and loosen the screw terminals.

Nota: This switch is ideal for AC loads such as water heaters, incandescent lamps, and heaters.

5.2. Abbinamento delle app

To control the switch remotely, you need to pair it with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.

In the app, tap "+" or "Add Device" and select the appropriate device type (e.g., "Switch (Wi-Fi)").

6. Istruzioni per l'uso

6.1. Controllo manuale

The switch features a physical button on its front panel. Press this button once to manually turn the connected appliance ON or OFF.

6.2. Controllo app

After successful pairing, open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. Select your switch from the device list. You can then:

• Toggle the switch ON/OFF remotely.
• Access energy consumption data.
• Set up schedules and timers.
• Configure automation rules.

6.3. Controllo vocale

The switch is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. To enable voice control:

1. Link your Tuya Smart or Smart Life account to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app.
