The HEIMAN smoke detector is powered by a replaceable 3V CR123A lithium battery, designed for a long lifespan (up to 5 years). To install or replace the battery:

1. Twist the detector counter-clockwise from its mounting bracket to remove it.

1. Choose a suitable location on the ceiling, ideally in the center of a room or hallway, away from vents or fans.

App Pairing (Wi-Fi Connection)

The HEIMAN smoke detector connects to your smartphone via Wi-Fi using the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. This allows for real-time notifications and remote control.

It is crucial to test your smoke detector regularly to ensure it is functioning correctly. Test the alarm at least once a month.

• Press and hold the Test/Hush button on the detector for a few seconds.
