4. Informazioni e precauzioni di sicurezza

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage to the charger or batteries, please read and adhere to the following safety guidelines:

• Use Compatible Batteries Only: Only charge battery types explicitly listed in the compatibility section. Attempting to charge incompatible batteries may result in damage or hazardous conditions.
• Ispezionare le batterie: Before charging, visually inspect batteries for any signs of damage, such as tears in the wrapper, dents, or leaks. Do not charge damaged batteries.

• Ventilazione: Ensure the charger is placed in a well-ventilated area during operation. Do not cover the charger.

5. Impostazione

1. Disimballare: Carefully remove the EBL PD4 charger and any included accessories from its packaging.
2. Posizionamento: Posizionare il caricabatterie su una superficie stabile, piana e ben ventilata, lontano dalla luce solare diretta, da fonti di calore e da materiali infiammabili.
3. Connetti alimentazione: Connect the provided USB cable to the Type-C input port on the back of the charger. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (5V 2A, 5V 3A, or 9V 2.2A recommended, not included). The LCD screen will illuminate, indicating the charger is powered on.
4. Controllo iniziale: Observe the LCD screen. It should display standby information or prompt for battery insertion.

6. Istruzioni per l'uso

6.1 Carica delle batterie

1. Inserire le batterie: Carefully insert one or more compatible rechargeable batteries into the charger slots, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). The charger will automatically detect the battery type (Li-ion, LiFePO4, Ni-MH, Ni-CD) and display its current voltage and charging status on the LCD screen.
2. Select Slot (Optional): Premere il tasto FESSURA button to cycle through the individual battery slots (1, 2, 3, 4) to view their specific charging information.
3. Adjust Charging Current (Optional): For channels 1 and 4, you can adjust the charging current. With a battery inserted, press the MODALITÀ button to cycle through available current options (e.g., 500mA, 1000mA, 2000mA). The charger will automatically select an appropriate current if not manually set.
4. Ricarica del monitor: The LCD screen will display real-time charging progress, including input voltage, volume della batteriatage, battery type, charging current, charging capacity (mAh), and battery power percentage.
5. Completamento della ricarica: Once charging is complete, the LCD screen will indicate "FULL" or 100%. Remove the batteries from the charger.

6.2 Discharge Function (Channel 4 Only)

The discharge function helps reduce battery memory effect, particularly for Ni-MH/Ni-CD batteries, potentially extending their lifespan. This function is available only in Channel 4.

1. Insert a battery into Channel 4.
2. Premere il tasto MODALITÀ button until "DISCHG" (Discharge) is displayed on the LCD screen for Channel 4.
3. The charger will begin discharging the battery. Once discharged, it will automatically switch to charging mode.

6.3 Capacity Test Function (Channel 4 Only)

The capacity test function allows you to determine the actual capacity of your battery. This function is available only in Channel 4.

1. Insert a battery into Channel 4.
2. Premere il tasto MODALITÀ button until "TEST" is displayed on the LCD screen for Channel 4.
3. The charger will perform a charge-discharge-charge cycle. After the cycle, the measured capacity (mAh) will be displayed on the screen.

6.4 '0'V Activation Function

The charger can attempt to reactivate over-discharged lithium batteries (Li-ion/LiFePO4) that have a protection board. When such a battery is inserted, the charger will automatically try to activate it before initiating the regular charging process.

6.5 Auto-Cut Off Function

The charger features an auto-cut off function to prevent overcharging and ensure battery longevity. It has a maximum charging time limit:

• Lithium Batteries: 15 hours
• Ni-MH Batteries: 9 hours

7. Manutenzione

• Pulizia: Scollegare il caricabatterie dall'alimentazione prima di pulirlo. Utilizzare un panno morbido e asciutto per pulire la superficie. Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o solventi.
• Magazzinaggio: Quando non in uso, conservare il caricabatterie in un luogo fresco e asciutto, lontano dalla luce solare diretta e da temperature estreme.
• Evitare i liquidi: Non esporre il caricabatterie all'acqua o ad altri liquidi.
• Maneggiare con cura: Evitare di far cadere o di sottoporre il caricabatterie a forti urti.
