3. Configurazione e installazione

3.1 Ricarica del dispositivo

Before initial use, fully charge the Sena 10S headset. Connect the provided USB power & data cable to the headset's charging port and a USB power source. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours. The LED indicator will change color to indicate charging status.

3.2 Mounting on a Helmet

The Sena 10S can be mounted on most motorcycle helmets using the included clamp kit. Follow these general steps:

1. Allentare le viti sul retro del clamp unità.
2. Fai scorrere il clamp unit between the outer shell and the inner padding of your helmet, positioning it on the left side.
3. Tighten the screws to secure the clamp.
4. Attach the main headset unit to the clamp.
5. Install the speakers inside the helmet, aligning them with your ears. Use the Velcro pads if necessary.
6. Connect the microphone (boom or wired) to the headset unit and position it appropriately for clear voice pickup.

4. Istruzioni per l'uso

4.1 Accensione/spegnimento

• Accensione: Press and hold the Phone Button and the Jog Dial for 1 second.
• Spegni: Tap the Phone Button and the Jog Dial simultaneously.

4.2 Controllo del volume

Ruotare la manopola Jog Dial in senso orario per aumentare il volume e in senso antiorario per diminuirlo.

4.3 Accoppiamento Bluetooth (smartphone)

To pair your smartphone with the Sena 10S for music, GPS, and phone calls:

1. With the headset off, press and hold the Phone Button for 5 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue alternately.
2. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for devices.
3. Select 'Sena 10S' from the list of found devices.
4. If prompted, enter '0000' for the PIN.

4.4 Comunicazione interfonica

The Sena 10S supports intercom communication with up to 4 riders. Ensure all devices are powered on and within range.

• Pairing with another Sena headset: Press and hold the Jog Dial of both units for 5 seconds until the LEDs flash red. Tap the Jog Dial on either unit to complete pairing.
• Starting/Ending Intercom: Tap the Jog Dial once to start or end a conversation with the first paired intercom friend. Tap twice for the second, and three times for the third.

4.5 Music Streaming and Phone Calls

• Riproduci/Pausa musica: Tenere premuto il Jog Dial per 1 secondo.
• Rispondi/Termina chiamata: Tocca il pulsante del telefono.
• Composizione vocale: Tieni premuto il pulsante del telefono per 3 secondi.

5. Manutenzione e cura

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Sena 10S headset, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Mantenere il dispositivo asciutto. L'umidità può danneggiare i circuiti interni.

• Clean the microphone and speaker grilles gently with a soft, dry cloth.
