5. Configurazione e installazione

The BONTEC monitor arm offers two installation methods: C-clamp and Grommet base. Choose the method best suited for your desk.

5.1.1 C-clamp Installazione

1. Allega il C-clamp to the main pole of the monitor arm.
2. Posizionare il C-clamp on the edge of your desk, ensuring it is stable and secure.
3. Stringere la clamp screw until the mount is firmly attached to the desk. The C-clamp includes silicone sleeves and an EVA pad to protect your desk surface.

1. Remove the VESA plate from the monitor arm by lifting it up.

The gas spring tension may need adjustment to properly support your monitor's weight. The arm features a robust 750 N·m gas spring.

1. If the monitor sags or does not stay in position, increase the tension. Use the provided Allen key to turn the adjustment screw (usually located on the arm near the VESA plate or main pole) clockwise.
2. If the monitor floats up or is difficult to push down, decrease the tension. Turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise.
3. Adjust gradually and test the arm's movement until the monitor stays in place at any desired height.

• Monitor Sags or Does Not Stay Up:
  • The monitor may be too heavy for the current gas spring tension. Increase the gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw clockwise.
  • Ensure the monitor's weight is within the specified range (6.6 - 19.8 lbs).
