2. Guida all'installazione

Follow these steps to set up your ARRIS SURFboard G18 cable modem router combo.

2.1 Prima di iniziare

• Locate a coaxial cable outlet in your home.
• Have your Internet Service Provider (ISP) account information ready, including your account number and login credentials.

3. Accensione: The device will automatically power on. Wait for the LED indicators on the front to stabilize. The Power, Downstream, Upstream, and Internet LEDs should turn solid green or blue, indicating a successful connection.

• Autoattivazione: Aprire un web browser on a connected device. You may be redirected to your ISP's activation page. Follow the on-screen instructions.
• Attivazione telefonica: If self-activation fails, call your ISP's customer support. Provide them with the MAC address (CM MAC) and Serial Number (S/N) located on the label on the bottom of your SURFboard G18.

3.1 Indicatori LED

• Dispositivi cablati: Use Ethernet cables to connect devices like computers, gaming consoles, or smart TVs to the Ethernet ports on the back of the G18.
• Dispositivi senza fili: Connect Wi-Fi enabled devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops) using the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and Password found on the label on the bottom of your G18.

3.3 SURFboard Central App

Manage your home network settings, parental controls, and guest Wi-Fi through the SURFboard Central mobile application. Download it from your device's app store.
