The dimensions are approximately 3.9 inches in length, 1.6 inches in width, and 0.86 inches in thickness for the main unit, with the magnet measuring 1.8 inches in length and 0.47 inches in thickness.

3. Configurazione e installazione

3.1 Installazione della batteria

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the main alarm unit.
  2. Carefully slide or pry open the cover. Some users may find a thumbnail or small tool helpful to budge the cover.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Batteries are typically included with the product.
  4. Riposizionare saldamente il coperchio del vano batteria.

3.2 Montaggio dell'allarme

The alarm uses a self-adhesive method for installation. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and smooth for optimal adhesion.

  1. Identify the desired location for the alarm on your refrigerator, freezer, window, or door frame. The main unit and the magnetic strip must be mounted adjacent to each other.
  2. Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive tape on both the main alarm unit and the magnetic strip.
  3. Attach the main unit to one part of the door/frame and the magnetic strip to the other, ensuring they are aligned. There are usually triangle markers on both parts that should be aligned.
  4. Crucially, the gap between the main unit and the magnetic strip must be less than 2.5 cm (0.98 inches) when the door is closed. A larger gap will prevent the alarm from functioning correctly.
  5. Press firmly for several seconds to ensure secure adhesion.

4. Istruzioni per l'uso

4.1 Accensione/spegnimento e selezione della modalità

On the side of the main alarm unit, locate the slide switch. This switch controls the alarm's power and sound mode:

  • OFF: Turns the alarm off.
  • CARRELLO: Activates the alarm in chime mode, producing a series of beeps.
  • ALLARME: Activates the alarm in siren mode, producing a loud siren sound.

4.2 Regolazione del volume

Use the volume button on the side of the main unit to cycle through the 5 available volume levels, from silent (0dB) to maximum (120dB). Select a volume appropriate for your environment.

4.3 Delay Time Setting (Work Mode)

The alarm features four distinct delay modes, which determine how long the door can remain open before an alert sounds. Use the 'Work Mode Set Key' button on the side of the main unit to cycle through these modes:

  • Mode 1 (1 Minute Delay): Alert sounds after 60 seconds. Beeps every 15 seconds until the door closes. Ideal for refrigerators or basement doors.
  • Mode 2 (2 Minute Delay): Alert sounds after 2 minutes. Beeps every 10 seconds until the door closes. Suitable for garages or shed doors.
  • Mode 3 (3 Minute Delay): Alert sounds after 3 minutes. Beeps every 5 seconds until the door closes. Useful for windows or cabinet doors.
  • Mode 4 (4 Minute Delay): Alert sounds after 4 minutes. Beeps every 20 seconds until the door closes. Appropriate for office or shop doors.

5. Manutenzione

5.1 Sostituzione della batteria

The alarm unit will emit a shorter beep duration when the batteries are low, indicating that replacement is necessary. Refer to Section 3.1 for detailed instructions on battery installation.

  • When the low battery warning occurs, replace both AAA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
  • Always use new alkaline AAA batteries for optimal performance.

5.2 Pulizia

Wipe the alarm units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the units in water.

6. Risoluzione Dei Problemi

  • L'allarme non suona o falsi allarmi:
    • Check the gap between the main unit and the magnetic strip. It must be less than 2.5 cm (0.98 inches) when the door is closed.
    • Ensure the triangle markers on both parts are aligned.
    • Verificare che le batterie siano installate correttamente e non siano scariche. Sostituirle se necessario.
    • Check the mode switch; ensure it is set to CHIME or ALARM, not OFF.
  • Alarm volume too low or too high:
    • Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume button on the side of the main unit.
  • Alarm sounds immediately or not at all when door opens:
    • Confirm the selected delay mode (Mode 1, 2, 3, or 4) is appropriate for your needs. Adjust using the 'Work Mode Set Key'.
