Wash the water tank weekly with mild soap and warm water. For the atomizer, gently clean the misting component using a cotton swab dipped in white vinegar. Never use pins or sharp objects to clean the mist outlet hole.
If there is no mist output, the cotton swab filter may be dry or the spring may be missing. Soak the cotton swab in water for 1 to 2 minutes before using, and ensure the small internal spring rests properly underneath the swab.
It is generally not recommended to use essential oils or fragrances in Fuliying humidifiers utilizing high-density cotton filters, as oil-based products can easily clog the atomization system.
For optimal mist output and hygiene, replace the internal cotton swab filter every 1 to 2 months, depending on how frequently the humidifier is used.
