To recharge devices like the DIGIPASS FX2 or FX1 BIO, simply plug the built-in or provided USB-C cable into the USB port of a PC, smartphone, or wall charger.
After 3 consecutive incorrect PIN attempts, the authenticator must be restarted (unplugged and re-inserted). After 8 consecutive incorrect attempts, the device safely locks itself down and must be reset to factory settings, which effectively removes all stored data, credentials, and fingerprints.
First, complete the initial PIN setup. Then, through your operating system's security settings (such as Windows Hello or Google Chrome security keys), follow the prompts to enroll up to 5 fingerprint templates. Place your finger on the sensor as indicated until the setup confirms the capture.
You can reset the authenticator using platform security settings, such as navigating to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options in Windows, or the Manage security keys section in Chrome settings. Selecting the reset option will erase all data and revert the unit to its factory defaults.
