Disimballaggio

1. Remove the contents from the box and check the shipment against the invoice to ensure the components ordered are provided.
2. Make sure to report to the Honeywell distributor for any damages during shipping.

Montaggio del registratore su carta circolare
Il registratore a carta circolare Honeywell offre le tre seguenti opzioni di montaggio per adattarsi alla superficie di montaggio della macchina target, garantire una buona tenuta e fornire misurazioni accurate.

• Montaggio a pannello
• Mounting on a 2-inch Pipe
• Mounting on Surface (of Panel or Wall)

Prerequisito: prima di montare il registratore, assicurarsi di rimuovere olio, umidità e sporco dalla superficie di montaggio della struttura target. Questo passaggio contribuisce a garantire una corretta adesione e funzionalità.

1. Montaggio a pannello:
   At the appropriate location, make a square cutout in the panel. Cutout dimensions should be 322.56 mm ± 1.52 mm x 322.56 mm ± 1.52 mm [12.7 in ± 0.060 in x 12.7 in ± 0.060 in].
   
2. Point the recorder case properly and slide it into the cutout from the front of the panel. Support the recorder as shown in Steps 3 and 4.
3. From the back of the panel, attach a mounting bracket to each side of the recorder case using a 1/4-20 x 1/2-inch hex screw for each bracket (mounting hardware supplied with recorder). Leave the screws slightly loose so you can adjust the brackets. See the figure “Panel Mounting (Rear View)” per vostro riferimento.
4. While holding the recorder firmly against the panel, slide each bracket against the back of the panel and tighten the screws.
   

Montaggio su tubo da 2 pollici:

1. Using the eight plastite screws supplied with the pipe mounting bracket kit, attach the two mounting brackets (flat side against the case) to the back of the recorder.
2. Position the recorder with brackets on the 2-inch pipe.
3. Install the U-bolts around the pipe and through the bracket holes. Secure with lock washers and hex nuts provided.

Montaggio su superficie (pannello o parete):

1. Using two flat-head 10-32 x 1/4-inch screws supplied with the recorder, fasten the support hook into the recess at the back of the recorder case.
2. Using 1/4-20 x 1/2-inch hex screws and lock washers, attach a mounting bracket to each side of the case. Leave the screws slightly loose to permit some adjustments of the brackets.
3. On the panel, mark the locations for the three holes, as shown in the figure “Surface Mounting on a Panel or Wall (Rear View)”.
4. Using a drill of appropriate size for user-supplied screws, drill a hole in the front of the panel for the eye of the support hook.
5. Insert the screws for the support hook into the panel, allowing the screw head to protrude approximately 5/16-inch.
6. Hang the recorder support hook on the screw. Make sure that the locations for the other two holes are correct. If not, make sure that the recorder is aligned vertically, and use the brackets as templates to mark the proper locations.
7. Remove the recorder from the panel and drill the other two holes.
8. Hang the recorder on the screw by the support hook and insert the other two user-supplied screws through the brackets into the panel. Tighten the two hex screws that attach the brackets to the case.

Cablaggio

Install the power wires into the correct screw terminals to prevent them from damaging the recorder.

1. Open the recorder door. Loosen the captive screw in the chart plate and swing the plate to access the terminal block.
2. Locate the power terminal block (TB6).

1. The Analogue Input (AI) card is available as a 4- channel card, where any 2-channels are configur-able at a time. The AI card is to be inserted into Slot A, wherein slot B is reserved for the future use.

Preparing the Recorder for Operation

When the unit is powered, a potentially lethal shock hazard exists at the AC line connections at TB6. Make sure the unit power is disconnected before starting the procedure, required to de-energize the recorder. Failure to observe this precaution can result in exposure to a potentially lethal shock hazard.

1. Open the recorder’s door.
2. Pull up on the pen lifter to raise the pen(s) from the chart plate and remove the protective cap from each pen tip. Lift the locking clip on the chart hub.
3. Slip the new chart under the pen lifter, pen, and time index, and press it into place over the chart hub.
4. Turn the chart until the desired timeline on the chart is aligned with the time index on the chart plate and Pen 1 before closing the locking clip on the hub. Push down on the lifter to return the pen(s) to the chart.

5. Close the door, and power ON the Recorder.
6. Perform the optional Step Test.

Comunicazione
The recorder hardware supports Modbus RTU communication; the communication link is wired to the terminal block on the CPU board.
Network address, baud rate, and transmitter delay are configurable for models with a display and Honeywell EasySet app. Models with no display of parameters are configurable using the Honeywell EasySet app.

Installing Honeywell
EasySet Application Prerequisite:

1. You must have an Android-based device to download the Honeywell EasySet App.
2. The smartphone/tablet on which you are installing the Honeywell EasySet app must support Android version 11 or higher.
3. To scan the QR code for Android, ensure that you install a QR code scanner app from Google Play Store.

Enable the location permission on your Android-based smartphone/tablet before installing the app.

1. Open the Google Play Store app, and search for “Honeywell EasySet”.
2. Tap Install, and then tap on the Honeywell EasySet app to open after successful installation.

L'accensione del registratore senza le dovute precauzioni può danneggiare il registratore stesso e il personale a causa di scosse elettriche.

Configurazione del display (per il registratore con display):

1. Once the recorder is power ON, the display will load and the main menu, which includes two pens and options for changing the configuration of the recorder as per the requirement.
2. Select the desired combination and input for the recorder’s pen 1 channel.
3. Set the parameters on the display for the pen 1 channel.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the pen 2 channel.
5. The user needs to set a new password as per secure password policy.
6. The user can configure the following items:
   • Chart – Type of chart, Duration, Hours per Revolution, and Chart Rotation.
   • Input – Input type, Span, Units, Sensor type.
   • Calibration – Sensor type, Calibration type, Calibration Input.

Il menu consente all'utente di modificare la Penna 1 e la Penna 2 e mostra anche le indicazioni Bluetooth, Totalizzatore e blocco sullo schermo.

 

Impostazioni

Per modificare le impostazioni l'utente deve immettere la password.
