CARDEA Reader Installation Overview

CARDEA T112/T113, PIN variants, and W/PIN variants are installed using a mounting plate, proper cable wiring to the correct connector positions, connector housing cover installation, and a final security screw tightening.

Passaggi di installazione rapidi

  1. Install the mounting plate: attach it to the wall with screws (do not overtighten; use dome head screws suitable for the wall material).
  2. Wire the reader: thread the cable through the hole in the connector housing cover (do not remove the grommet); use a cable approximately 6 mm ±0.5 mm thick.
  3. Connect wires to the connector in the correct positions (follow the connector position guide provided in the manual). Note: incorrect wiring can permanently damage a reader.
  4. Install the connectors to the reader, then press the connector housing cover into place.
  5. Attach the reader to the mounting plate using a hinge-like motion.
  6. Tighten the security screw (M3 x 12 mm) from the bottom of the housing.

INSTALLAZIONE

1 Installare la piastra di montaggio

2 Cablaggio del lettore

3 Collegare il lettore

Attach the reader to the mounting plate with a hinge-like motion.

Tighten the security screw (M3 x 12 mm) from the bottom of the housing.

  • Reader may be permanently damaged: If wiring was connected to incorrect positions, the manual warns that incorrect wiring can permanently damage a reader.
  • Avoid close proximity RF exposure: The manual states that prolonged stay in the immediate proximity of the reader (< 20 cm) should be avoided.
