CARDEA Reader Installation Overview
CARDEA T112/T113, PIN variants, and W/PIN variants are installed using a mounting plate, proper cable wiring to the correct connector positions, connector housing cover installation, and a final security screw tightening.

Passaggi di installazione rapidi
- Install the mounting plate: attach it to the wall with screws (do not overtighten; use dome head screws suitable for the wall material).
- Wire the reader: thread the cable through the hole in the connector housing cover (do not remove the grommet); use a cable approximately 6 mm ±0.5 mm thick.
- Connect wires to the connector in the correct positions (follow the connector position guide provided in the manual). Note: incorrect wiring can permanently damage a reader.
- Install the connectors to the reader, then press the connector housing cover into place.
- Attach the reader to the mounting plate using a hinge-like motion.
- Tighten the security screw (M3 x 12 mm) from the bottom of the housing.

INSTALLAZIONE

1 Installare la piastra di montaggio

2 Cablaggio del lettore
2A) Thread cable through the hole in the connector housing cover but do not remove the grommet. Use a cable approximately 6mm ±0.5mm thick.
2B) Connect wires to connector in correct positions (follow the guide above).
Nota: Incorrect wiring can permanently damage a reader.
(2C) Installare i connettori sul lettore.
(2D) Premere il coperchio dell'alloggiamento del connettore in posizione.
3 Collegare il lettore
Attach the reader to the mounting plate with a hinge-like motion.
4 Stringere la vite di sicurezza
Tighten the security screw (M3 x 12 mm) from the bottom of the housing.
