Istruzioni di installazione UA-CS-LX
NOTA: The legacy panel interface is one component of a total system upgrade. Before modifying the existing system, please contact your local Lutron sales representative to confirm site readiness and system upgrade schedule.
L'installazione varia in base al tipo di controller che viene sostituito. Dopo aver identificato il tipo di controller esistente, seguire la procedura di istruzioni applicabile di seguito. Utilizzare il software di programmazione Athena per configurare e mettere in funzione l'interfaccia del pannello legacy dopo l'installazione.

Sopraview
NOTA: The power LED should always be lit when power is applied. Do not use the LED as a panel power indicator. Always remove power from the panel before handling terminals or connectors.
NOTA: All wiring is NECR Class 2. Follow all applicable national and local codes for proper circuit separation and protection.
Cablaggio
- The legacy panel interface can also be powered by 24 V
Controllore LCP/XPS
- Rimuovere il cablaggio dal controller esistente.
- A Unscrew the Class 2 / PELV 24 V~ wires from the bottom left AC1 and AC2 terminals.
- B Remove the LINK1 control link harness from the bottom of the controller.
- C If the existing controller has two control link harnesses:

- E Record the switch (S1) position. This will be used in step 9E.
- F Unplug the panel contact closure inputs connector from the existing controller.

- Remove the left mounting bracket. The bracket and screws can be discarded.
- Loosen and remove the two 11/32 in (9 mm) nuts and star washers from behind the controller.
NOTA: Save the nuts and star washers. They will be used again in step 5. - Remove the controller by sliding it upwards and then pulling it away from the front of the panel.
- Move the screws / studs.
- A Per pannelli montati in superficie:
Spostare le viti/i perni dal passaggio 3 ai fori di montaggio dell'interfaccia del pannello legacy.
Aggiungere le rondelle a stella e i dadi rimossi nel passaggio 3, ma non serrare completamente. - B Per pannelli montati ad incasso:
Le viti/i perni non devono essere spostati. Non interferiranno con l'interfaccia del pannello legacy. Continuare con il passaggio 6.
- A Per pannelli montati in superficie:
- Lengthen the Class 2 / PELV 24 V~ wires by attaching the two-conductor extension wire (provided) with the lever connectors.
- Remove and cap the “2” and “D” wires from the 6-pin communication terminal block from step 1D. The “2” and “D” terminals on the 6-pin communication terminal block of the legacy panel interface should not be connected.
NOTA: If a link terminator (LT-1) is present between pins 3 and 4, remove and discard it.
- Mount the legacy panel interface.
- A For surface-mounted panels: Place the legacy panel interface over the screws / studs with the loosened nuts and star washers from step 5A to the left of the mounting slots and then slide the legacy panel interface downward.
Completare il serraggio dei dadi da 11/32 pollici (9 mm) e delle rondelle a stella del passaggio 5A. - B Per pannelli da incasso:

- Connect the legacy panel interface to the existing wiring.
- A Plug the Class 2 / PELV 24 V~ wiring into the legacy panel interface.
- B Plug the LINK1 control link harness into the LINK1 header on of the legacy panel interface.
NOTA: se il controller esistente aveva due cablaggi di collegamento di controllo, questo sarà il nontagcablaggio di collegamento del controllo GED. - C If the existing controller had two control link harnesses, plug the taginserito il cablaggio di collegamento di controllo LINK2 nell'intestazione LINK2 dell'interfaccia del pannello legacy.
- D Plug the 6-pin communication terminal block from the existing controller into the legacy panel interface.
- E Move the emergency switch to match the switch position that was recorded in step 1E.
- Apply the Lutron UA-CS-LX label (provided) to the legacy panel cover near the existing labeling.
Selettore circuito originale
- Remove the wiring for the existing circuit selector.
- A Scollegare il cablaggio Classe 2/PELV 24 V~.
- B Remove the LINK1 control link harness from the bottom of the circuit selector.
- C If the existing circuit selector has two control link harnesses:

Rimuovere il cablaggio di controllo LINK2 dal selettore di circuito esistente. - D Record the switch (S1) position. This will be used in step 8E.

NOTA: Skip the “D” terminal.
If a link terminator (LT-1) is present between pins 3 and 4, remove and discard it.
- Loosen and remove the two nuts and star washers from behind the circuit selector by turning each counterclockwise using an 11/32 in (9 mm) nut driver. Save these fasteners to use when mounting the legacy panel interface.
NOTA: When removing the nuts and star washers, use caution to not allow them to fall into the module. Metal debris in a module may cause damage.
- Remove the circuit selector by pulling the device away from the side of the panel.
- Replace the star washers and nuts that were removed in step 3, but do not fully tighten.
- Mount the legacy panel interface by placing it over the screws / studs with the loose nuts and star washers from step 5 to the left of the mounting slots. Then slide the legacy panel interface downward.
- Finish tightening both 11/32 in (9 mm) nuts and star washers that were replaced in step 5.
- Connect the legacy panel interface to the existing wiring.
- A Plug the Class 2 / PELV 24 V~ wiring into the legacy panel interface.
- B Plug the LINK1 control link harness into the LINK1 header on the legacy panel interface.
NOTA: If the existing controller had two control link harnesses, this will be the untagcablaggio di collegamento del controllo GED. - C Se il controller avesse due cablaggi di collegamento di controllo:

Selettore di circuito II
AVVERTIMENTO: SHOCK HAZARD. May result in serious injury or death. Turn off power at circuit breaker before installing the unit.
NOTA: Before modifying the existing system, please contact your local Lutron sales representative to confirm site readiness and system upgrade schedule.
- Remove the wiring for the existing circuit selector.
- A Scollegare il cablaggio Classe 2/PELV 24 V~.
- B Remove the LINK1 control link harness from the bottom left of the circuit selector.

- D Unplug the 6-pin communication terminal block (Link A) from the existing circuit selector.
- E Record the switch (S1) position. This will be used in step 7E.
- F If present, unplug the Link B connector from the existing circuit selector.
NOTA: The legacy panel interface does not have an equivalent Link B input. Please contact your local
Lutron sales representative or system sales engineer for additional information.
- Without removing them from the screws / studs, loosen the two 11/32 in (9 mm) nuts behind the circuit selector.
- Remove the circuit selector by sliding it upwards and then pulling it away from the front of the panel.
- Mount the legacy panel interface by placing it over the screws / studs with the loose nuts and star washers from step 2 to the left of the mounting slots. Then slide the legacy panel interface downward.
- Firmly tighten both 11/32 in (9 mm) nuts and star washers.
- Remove and cap the “2” and “D” wires from the 6-pin communication terminal block from step 1D. The “2” and “D” terminals on the 6-pin communication terminal block of the legacy panel interface should not be connected.
NOTA: If a link terminator (LT-1) is present between pins 3 and 4, remove and discard it.
- Connect the legacy panel interface to the existing wiring.
- A Plug the Class 2 / PELV 24 V~ wiring into the legacy panel interface.
- B Plug the LINK1 control link harness from the circuit selector into the LINK1 header on the legacy panel interface.
NOTA: If the existing controller had two control link harnesses, this will be the untagcablaggio di collegamento del controllo GED. - C Se il selettore di circuito avesse due cablaggi di collegamento di controllo:

Operazioni locali

Change Baud Rates

NOTA: The device will exit baud rate selection mode if there is no local button interaction for 30 seconds. The locally set baud rate will be overriden if it does not match baud rate that is specified in the Athena programming software.

The preset cycle for configured dimming switch legs is (1) 1%, (2) 50%, (3) 100%, and (4) 0%. - Premere e tenere premuto il tasto button to exit local load control mode.
NOTA: The device will exit local load control mode if there is no local button interaction for 30 seconds.
